Santa Monica/Universal Studios/Disneyland 2: 2-3 October 2013

Headed back to LA on 2/10 from the High Sierra. Back through the arid San Joaquin Valley of central California. Kaylene and Abbey are staying at Anaheim another two nights to spend the day at Disneyland Resort and to go to a lunch with the princesses in Ariel's Grotto. The boys and I are staying in Santa Monica. After a couple of loads of washing we headed to Downtown Disney and at at ESPN Zone before wandering and browsing the shops. The boys and I then dropped the girls back at their hotel and took to the LA freeways for the 72km drive to Santa Monica on the other side of LA. Arrived safe and sound and then spent today at Universal Studios before heading back to Santa Monica via Hollywood, Hollywood West and Beverly Hills via Hollywood Blvd, Sunset Blvd, Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Blvd. A great day and managed to negotiate the GMC Yukon XL through LA!
