We being Stuart, Elliott, Lachlan have checked in been through customs and are now waiting in the Qantas club lounge. We can see our plane out the window the A380. There is very high excitement. T-2hours.

The Flying Kangaroo has landed in New York

Kaylene, Hamilton and Abbey safely arrived in New York this morning Sydney time. They were collected by Kaylene's brother Murray who drove them the 90mins back to Chatham, New Jersey through Soho in lower Manhattan. Elliott, Lachlan & I look forward to catching up with all in Chicago on Monday afternoon.

Kaylene, Hamilton & Abbey have left the station

There was high excitement early this morning as Kaylene and the two younger kids waited for Kaylene's parents to arrive at 6am for the lift to the airport. I hope the adrenalin stops pumping quite so fast for Kaylene's sake :-)

One more sleep for Kaylene, Hamilton & Abbey

Kaylene, Hamilton and Abbey are all geared up, packed and ready to head to New York City tomorrow where they will be spending 5 nights with Kaylene's brother Murray, his wife Rachel, and their two sons Cruz and Cole. Elliott, Lachlan and I head off on Saturday to Chicago. We are all looking forward to some warm weather with the forecasts predicting high 20s to low 30s!

Two weeks to go

We are now in the last two weeks before heading off to the US, Canada & Hawaii. Kaylene, Hamilton & Abbey leave on 28 August and Stuart, Elliott & Lachlan leave on 31 August. We all arrive back home in Sydney on 12 October.
